From Gotham City's rooftops to its dark alleyways, Batman's war on crime has become the stuff of legend. Commemorating these adventures of the Dark Knight, DC Direct unveils a new box set featuring one of Batman's closest allies – and some of his most nightmarish adversaries!

This box set includes four action figures, all featuring brand new deco paints, as well as LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT SPECIAL, a unique 64-page collection of stories featuring each character’s secret origin and other tales.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if he was inspired by that ridiculous puppet in the Saw movies...

I like that Batman costume design. I think he went without the briefs for about three issues in the actual comic before some editor decided they needed to stick with tradition and give his undies back (though Batman himself would most certainly think undies on the outside of the costume would serve no purpose and get rid of them).

So there are my thoughts on that.

Nice paint scheme on Gordon and Two Face too.

My god that is an ugly Joker. Of all the Jokers DC Direct has made, why would they use the Jim Lee monstrosity? Good choice on the Kubert Batman, but *yawn* on the color choices.

At least those of you that missed a Jim Gordon the first time are getting a second chance.
