Package Description
Victor Stone's dreams of Olympic fame were crushed when his scientist father inadvertently released a creature from another dimension. Victor's mother was killed by the creature and Victor suffered crippling injuries. To save his son's life, Silas Stone grafted cybernetic limbs to victor, turning his son into more machine than man. Known as Cyborg, he is advisor and trainer to the teen titans.

Appearance
Cyborg has a new sculpt based on the Batman and Captain Atom body with some modifications. The proportions are good, and work better on Cyborg than Batman because of the more mechanical look. The look is as close to iconic as I could ask for, and he looks good standing next to Nightwing. Cyborg also stands out on the shelf because of the alternating shiny and dark areas, in addition to a lot of detail on the silver areas to help him stand out. All the details of this figure like panel lines are on the silver areas and don’t have any paint problems or smudges. There are some paint problems with the paint wash on the legs, which is something to look out for.

Cyborg has a fairly realistic look and goes well with other figures in this line. The face sculpt is not generic. The nose was made a little bigger, in addition to other facial features to make him look close to the comic look. The skin tone is also a lot better than on characters like Green Lantern. Overall Cyborg is another visual success in this line, with the look and feel of the character captured almost perfectly while maintaining the stylistic integrity.

Articulation

Articulation is standard for the DC Universe Classics line. The elbows bend a little less than 90 degrees, while the ab joint has a great range of motion. The hip articulation is only slightly limited by the belt. The head cannot look up or down very far. The hand pieces are easily switched out.

Poseability
Cyborg can do some dynamic poses, but not the great acrobatic poses of characters like Nightwing. He can still look great posing with his hand pieces and has some good fighting poses, but Cyborg isn’t the most dynamic figure. He looks good posing with Nightwing, but could use some more Titans. There’s nothing special about Cyborg’s poses, but he does look great on the shelf for display.

Final Judgment: 7
Cyborg is pretty standard for DC Universe Classics. In general the paint job and the detail on the silver stand out pretty well. The posing could use some improvement though. Cyborg is still a good buy though as the costume really helps him stand out on the shelf.
