Having watched many Shatner interviews over the years, as well as his little behind the scenes clips on all the Star Trek DVDs I have come to the conclusion that he has a very, VERY dry wit and his humor is very subtle and ironic. He plays straight better than anyone I know.

Though I could point out one thing in one of these clips that you could argue doesn't make sence even under the alternate reality senario. It's not a biggie as far as ruining the movie or anything and wait till after you all have seen the movie before I point it out, see if you all catch it ... read more |

It's an alternate timeline. The movie is good but basically you have to except that it's not beholden to anything really established in previous Trek movies or tv shows. |
