I'm most excited about Copperhead. Sadly they packaged him with SW which I have already. I'm trying to to double up on figures. That's also why I don't have Breaker.

Well, you could look at it this way, the life vest thingy Shipwreck is wearing can be used with other figures I'd guess.

Copperhead and Firefly are the two that I am really looking forward to. The Firefly came out quite nice.

Aren't these still considered prototypes?? When are these out?

For the most part these kick all kinds of ass, especially Copperhead

Copperhead: Very nice. Is the helmet removable? I honestly hope not.

Shipwreck: Meh. Coulda fixed his fist.

Storm Shadow: When the hell did he ever use a gun? He's a TRADITIONAL ninja, meaning no guns. I could be mistaken, sure, but I don't recall it ever happening and none of his figures ever did. It seems the perfect place to have done an "unmaskable" version in the line. Those are more of nitpicks, but that claw is going straight to version 2.

Copperhead's helmet isn't removable.

Shipwreck could have been Cutter if only Hasbro made one new head.

Storm Shadow is holding Firefly's gun see the in package pic. I don't need multiple Firefly's so that one could easily be customized into Shockwave. Yet another Storm Shadow? Well I just need to replace the head with (link) for an instant DDP Sei Tin.

#WTF# ENOUGH WITH THOSE BLASTED DUKE ARMS HASBRO!!! Red Star could have been so much better.

Good, I'd like Barbecue's helmet removable please!

I realized what I dislike about some of these figures.

Copperhead: Very nice. Is the helmet removable? I honestly hope not.

Shipwreck: Meh. Coulda fixed his fist.

Duke: Now this is what I was talking about in my first line. If I didn't see the name on the stand/package or already know, I'd be wondering who the hell this guy even is! I understand the originals were generic by necessity (Hawk didn't stand out so much as "Hawk" in his comic pack), but this is kinda ridiculous. I actually like the look. It just isn't "Duke". I mean, based on the time that Red Star came out, this should have been version 3 or the Tiger Force version. This isn't anything.

Red Star: Will we be seeing the "real" Oktober Guard characters later on?

Firefly: Worth it to get all that gear alone. Gives me high hopes for guys with unique gear from RAH.

Those are more of nitpicks, but that claw is going straight to version 2.

why does Copperhead have those lame knees??

I hate that they are starting to change some of the figures to single-joint knees... (Bazooka)

I like consistency....

pretty soon, this line will be back to being GvC/DTC... and it will fail

It seems that only the new series 'big guys' have had the single-joint knees. The only ones I've know to have it so far are Destro and Roadblock. It could be a trend as Copperhead is using Roadblock parts and could be a big guy, too. As for Bazooka, I never thought of him as a big guy, but maybe that's the way the line decided to make him this time around.

That's all pure speculation on my part, but it seems like it could be reasonable, and not something that would cause the line to fail. I think that's a bit drastic. The response so far has seemed to be overwhelmingly positive, so I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that it will fail.
