In 1999, Western street culture hit Hong Kong with a vengeance, and began to renovate the collectibles market. Vinyl figures, which are more art and less toy, began to pop up on retailer’s shelves and have recently become the newest trend in toy collecting. These figures combine the urban style, to which Americans have become so accustomed, with the style that is prevalent in Hong Kong. The newest in this line of stylish collectibles are the "Mongok Gang."

Imported from Hong Kong, these 6" vinyl figures follow the successful "Out of Town" and "Estate" Exclusive Vinyl Figures. From the Mongok Gang, the 6" tall Dr. Who vinyl red figure, Soho figure, and Nomo figures have articulation at the neck, shoulders, wrists, and feet. The Nomo figure has metal earrings, an alternate set of arms, and headphones. Soho also includes an extra set of arms. Scheduled to ship in August 2003, these are unique figures that no collector will want to miss!
