March 13, 2008
TNI: It was announced by the WB that "The Batman" animated series is ending. Will the toy line based on this series be ending as well this year?

Mattel: The future of The Batman line is still open. Just look at JLU, still going strong years after the show was over…

TNI: Are there any plans to make figures for the LOSH animated series or the new "Brave & The Bold Batman" series?

Mattel: We’ll be addressing both of these questions at the summer conventions!

TNI: When are the new DC Universe Infinite Heroes figures due out on shelves?

Mattel: Wave 1 should be out around August.

TNI: Why the decision to put a Deathstroke figure in the"Dark Knght" line if he's not in the movie, and any plans for any other DCU villians or heroes who aren't in the movie to show up in this line?

Mattel: Deathstroke will be in the Dark Knight Movie video game so we had access to him for our toy line.

TNI: Can we expect any updates about the Masters of the Universe toy line this year, maybe at SDCC?

Mattel: We’ll have some news at NY Comic Con with a larger focus at San Diego on the future of the MOTU property. Good things are cooking up!
