The box doesn't seem too big. I wonder if there is enough room for proper packaging? You just know that box is gonna be thrown in a boat and shipped overseas. Sure is a lot of money. It deserves better.

quite frankly,i think it's ridiculous that they would come out with it now, when the batman(original costume)sold out a year ago.

hay thats right bats! i remember reading that the 1/6 tumbler would only accomidate the Original bats. but how does that make any sence. altho the rubber armor is designed differantly its still the same true type body right? i mean could there realy be that much of a differance that the tumbler wont fit the TDK bats?

Well I don't think there's a difference for the Tumbler but the Bat-Pod has the special backpack for the cape so it looks like it's flowing through the air.

BTW I don't think the original plan was for the Tumbler to come out this late. I thought the original date was December/January-ish.

I get the feeling that no one is buying the thing, and HT is left with the task of an 11th hour promotional champane to get the collector interested. All HT real needs to do is have the damn thing DO SOMETHING other than sit there and look big as hell.

The reason the pics are shown is because the thingy has been delayed for a longass time and a lot of ppl (those at the 12 inch forums) assumed that the batmobiles were not being made afterall. There are some ppl who have preorder and paid this thing in full many moons ago so there are ppl who are buyin this

BTW, the Tumbler lights up

yeah i know it lights up. matter of fact i was just saying to my roommate that HT could have kept that gimmick and sprung for some gun bays or something other than what the 1:18 scale tumbler does. I mean all this thing does is turn on its head light slide open canopy, and flap it rear spoiler...........WOOPTY DOO!

I actually preordered mine almost a year ago. The problem is where am I going to put it.

Did you mean last minute "campaign"? I don't think champagne is going to attract people to buy this unless it's like a special Bruce Wayne bottle, lol. Regardless of what features it has the price is too much for a lot of people. It's really the difference between collecting this or collecting a toy line for the year like DCUC.

Too bad it's not for the 6" MM figs.
