Update: Mattel today made the following announcement in regards to whether they would or would not flock their upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics Moss Man figure.

We are going to flock Moss Man as much as we can. It won't be a complete flock due to the joints, but we don't want to loose any of the awesome articulation either.

We don't have images yet, but as soon as we do we'll share them with all the fans.

Mattel has announced on their Facebook page that they have run into some problems flocking the upcoming Masters of the Universe Classic Mossman figure which is currently slated to go on sale in March 2010.

The problem is that unlike the original version of Mossman which was flocked, this one has more articulation which is causing the flocking problems.

Mattel states that these issues could possibly cause Mossman to get pushed back to April and the as-of-yet-unannounced figure for April would get bumped up to March.

Mattel has released images of what the figure would look like flocked and not flocked, and is asking fans how important it is to them to have this figure released flocked like was originally announced, especially if it could mean that the figure is delayed. * Note that the flocked version is shown with head sculpt 1 and the unflocked version is shown with head sculpt 2, and that both heads would be included regardless of which body they choose to go with.
