Sideshow is pleased to announce that it will be releasing WWI American Flying Ace - Lt. Eddie Rickenbacher. The 1/6th scale version of America's Top Ace is the latest edition to Sideshow's Bayonets and Barbwire series. Eddie Rickenbacher was assigned to the US 94th Aero Pursuit Squadron in March of 1918, and although he was a good deal older than most pilots of the day, he proved himself in battle, achieving enough aerial victories to qualify as "Ace" by May of the same year. Throughout his service in war, Rickenbacker continued to demonstrate his tenacity and determination by flying 300 hours of combat missions, more than any other U.S. fighter pilot in WWI.
