(Cypress, CA – September 7, 2005) – The 13th season of the dynamic Power Rangers franchise features a complete line of police-themed action figures, vehicles and the largest role-play offering to date, with master toy licensee Bandai America Incorporated unleashing two new deluxe Megazords at retail this month. Joining this past Spring’s Delta Squad and Omega Max Megazord are the Supreme and Delta Command Megazords. All four transform for battle when the Power Rangers need help defeating evil space aliens, and allow boys to re-live the awesome action from their favorite show.

For the past 12 years, Bandai America’s Power Rangers toy line has held its reign as one of the top boys’ action brands. Earlier this year, the company introduced its new lineup to support the police-themed season, Power Rangers SPD, which follows a fresh team of teenagers hired by the Interplanetary Chief of Police Doggie Kruger to stop a mysterious wave of crime that has engulfed the world. Along the way, the Rangers teach kids valuable lessons about teamwork, loyalty, heroism and the importance of good triumphing over evil.

“Each year the Power Rangers brand introduces dynamic themes that resonate with kids and help it continue to be one of the most successful boys’ properties. There’s virtually no other property in the industry that has had this kind of relevance and staying power year after year,” said Matthew Golding, director of marketing for Bandai America Inc. “In fact, we’ve been ranked one of the top three boys’ action figure brands for the past three years.”
Fall’s new Supreme Megazord, which comes with two unique weapons, is comprised of five vehicles that can be combined with one another to form the large Megazord mode. Both the vehicle and Megazord modes have light and sound features. This Megazord also transforms into

a cool role-play toy, with lights that can be activated along the top, as well as inside of the double barrel, by pressing the trigger button. Firing sounds are also activated by pressing the trigger button.
The largest of all Megazords, however, is the awesome Delta Command Megazord – a unique and detailed three-in-one toy and playset that will only be available at Toys R Us stores. Featured on the series, it is the home base for the Power Rangers, is a transport vehicle to take the Rangers into battle and can transform into a Megazord. It also has hidden compartments where kids can launch the five vehicles that comprise the Delta Squad Megazord into action.

About Power Rangers
Over the past thirteen years, the Power Rangers have been on Earth, in space, on the moon, under water, traveling through time, in the jungle and anywhere evil lurks. They’ve battled Rita Repulsa, Divatox, Master Org, Dark Spector, Toxica, Jindrax and many more evil-doers – villains who have been shrunk to miniatures, tossed in jail, reduced to ooze or banished. Over time, the brand has maintained its themes of teamwork, honesty, loyalty, courage, family, friends and above all, the victory of good over evil. With a far greater reach than any other kids TV franchise, Power Rangers is currently seen in 21 timeslots each week; mornings and evenings during the JETIX action/adventure block on ABC Family and Toon Disney, and on the ABC Television Network every Saturday morning. The brand has established its ubiquity by introducing such words as “Zord,” “Megazord” and “Morpher” into the modern lexicon.
