As Barry Bonds gets closer to setting the all-time home run record, McFarlane Toys is hard at work getting ready to commemorate the event.

The Barry Bonds 756 figure will debut at the MLB All-Star FanFest this summer in San Francisco, with 3,000 gray-uniform figures available in our classic clamshell packaging. The Collector's Edition will follow later, painted in San Francisco's home white uniform.

When exactly will the Collector's Edition hit stores? That's up to Barry - we're planning to have the items waiting in our warehouses this summer, and ship to stores the day after Bonds hits home run #756. Bonds has nine home runs through the Giants' first 26 games (an average of one homer every 2.88 games). At that pace, he projects to hit his record-breaking 756th career home run in the Giants' 64th game on June 12th.
