DSTChuck has released a new Diamond Select Toys Q&A over on their Art Asylum website for your viewing pleasure.

In this weeks edition focuses Miscellaneous questions. Check out the entire Q&A below:

Dennis McCarthy
Was the Venom Symbiote with the rattlesnake spine ever marketed or did it remain just a prototype?

DSTChuck: Dennis, I am not sure I know the one you’re talking about. If you mean the Anti-Venom then yes that figure was released.

Aaron Thompson
Is the Marvel Select movie Thor gonna have a helmet?

DSTChuck: No Aaron, the Thor will not come with a helmet.

Rick Eubanks
While looking over your AWESOME Toy Fair offerings, I noticed that you picked up the Sony license, and saw Minimates for Jak and Daxter, as well as Uncharted and Resistance. Then I noticed an action figure two-pack for Jak and Daxter due in July. Now…maybe I’m getting ahead of myself, but this got me HIGHLY excited…..please, PLEASE tell me…..are we FINALLY getting Uncharted figures when the third game comes out in November? That is my Grail at this moment!! Thanks for any answer!

DSTChuck: No sorry Rick we have no plans to do figure from the Uncharted franchise.

James White
Like a lot of collectors and fans I spent the weekend scouring through Toy Fair pictures and posts on multiple forums and toy news sites. While I was disappointed they there wasn’t much Star Trek shown or that you did not announce that you would be doing classic V figures (yes I can dream) I was very excited to here about DST getting Knight Rider. This was without a doubt the coolest news I heard about all Toy Fair. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I cant wait to see what you do with the big electronic versions If you need any help at all figuring out variants to make let me know. Here are a few that spring to mind: K.I.T.T. (normal version) K.I.T.T. (convertible top down) K.I.T.T. (gray primer version after being rebuilt) K.I.T.T. (Super Pursuit mode) K.A.R.R (two tone paint version is a must have) K.A.R.R (all black version)

DSTChuck: I know we have talked about KITT, KARR and KITT SPM but we’ll have to see the response – glad you’re as excited as we are.

Adam Miatke
Hi, Recently, DC toys announced the cancellation of their second series of Mass Effect figures to go along with the incredibly-delayed first series including a very ugly Commander Shepard. Would AA look at taking on the Mass Effect licence in terms of producing figures, given AA’s proven high quality, as well as possibly a large ship (the Normandy) and possibly some tech?

DSTChuck: No sorry Adam we are not looking at that property at this time.

Andy Petersen
What is up with the head sculpt on your Dracula figure from the Universal Monsters 7inch line? He not only does not look at all like Lugosi, but the TRU version looks like he’s roaring! Lugosi never even wore teeth in the movie. I was really looking forward to a Lugosi Dracula to add to this line, because it looks like you guys did a fantastic job on the Frank, and the first wave was great. Dracula needs to look intimidating without flashing his fangs…it looks way too modern, and doesn’t fit with the rest of the Monsters very well. Looks like you got the Lugosi license on the Mego figure, so why not the 7 inch? Man. As a monster fan, it is a sad day.

DSTChuck: Andy, we do not have the rights to Lugosi’s likeness as part of our license with Universal. Sorry you are disappointed.

Abayomi Allen
With this being the year of Captain America will we ever see a Isaiah Bradley action figure? All of Cap’s friends are getting action figures; Winter Soldier, Captain Britain, US Agent, Falcon, and even a Bucky Captain America. I know you guys could do it right, but will you?

DSTChuck: Sorry, with the Marvel Select line being so limited in the number of releases per year, we are keeping the Cap line to two right now.

Chris Hauck
Hello I have a question figures to the family munster how big are the figures? thank you

DSTChuck: The Munsters will be in scale with the Universal Monster series – so 7” scale.

Nick Nugent
Dear Art Asylum, First I would like to say that I have greatly enjoyed your various product lines! I am contacting you because I noticed you are finally working on bringing back Knight Rider for us eager fans of the series! I want to say first off, thank you! You see I wrote/designed/published the #1 guidebook to Knight Rider called The Knight Rider Companion which has been selling decent enough worldwide since it’s initial release.

DSTChuck: Nick, the car we showed at TF was just a mock up but we’re so happy that someone with your background is excited as well.

David Stoeckel
I saw on Your Site the KNIGHT RIDER Vehicles and the Items based on THE MUNSTERS you’re doing, and from what I’ve seen, they’re going to be Great. Do You know when they’ll become available to Purchase. Also, I Like what I’ve seen with the STAR TREK:NEMESIS Edition USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701-E. When will it Be Available?

DSTChuck: Munsters should be out this Halloween and KITT for holiday 2011.

Will Bueche
You’ve said before that HBO’s licensing for “True Blood” action figures is just too expensive for DST to consider at this time. My question is, does DST check in with HBO now and then to see if they’ve lowered their price?

DSTChuck: I don’t think I’ve ever said it was too expensive just not something we’re looking at at this time and HBO is not interested in licensing figures at this time – they have never licensed one of their shows for figures.
