Pre-Sandtrooper By Hemblecreations
This week's TNI Cool Custom is of a Clone Sandtrooper by Hemblecreations
Here is how Hemble describes the making of this figure:
"10 years after the destruction of the Jedi and the growing need for more Troopers in the galaxy, the Empire decided that it was time to expand there grib even further to the Outer Rim planets and set up garrisons on even the most hospitable planets and one of these planets was Tatooine.
Now with the garrison secured and fully operational the Empire knew that they needed new equipemant and uniforms to help the troops work better in these harsh enviroments so testing was done on a number of uniforms. So beagn the the trials to see what uniform would suite the troops in these harsh condition which would serve the Empire better.
Body - The whole body is from the ROTS Clone Trooper figure from Hasbro, The helmet has been altered by adding a small comms arieal and a monitoring device. The visor has been puttied up to give the visor a Stormtrooper feel to it.
Equipement - The backpack is from and old Final Fantasy figure cut and added and the breathing tubes are thick robe superglued and then painted. The rifle is a modified WW2 German Paratrooper rifle with simple modifications added to it. The pouches are from the bits box and are from WW1 and modern day figures. The cloaks.robes are some left over material and the pants are from an old WW2 German DAK figure.
Base - The base has been cut from foamcore and has had cardboard added to both sides for strength, a mix of plaster of paris, fine sand and kitty litter was added. The base was then painted and dry brushed to the desired effect."
