As in previous years, STRANGEco, the foremost purveyor of artist-based toys, design objects and curiosities, takes its place at the head of The Cultyard, a loose organization of art merchandise companies created in 2004 by the Independent Toy Growers of America.

STRANGEco will be showcasing a variety of upcoming products, due to hit retailers throughout the year, as well as presenting a full line-up of exclusive and special edition toys for Comic Con- including toys from Dean Bradley, Bob Dob, James Jarvis, Nathan Jurevicius, Superdeux, tokidoki, The Vivisect Playset, Jim Woodring - and a few surprises, too.

July 25-29, 2007
San Diego Convention Center
Booth 4729

EXCLUSIVES, AND SPECIAL EDITIONS:

LUEY - GRAYSCALE EDITION: A special show exclusive of the upcoming vinyl figure series by LA artist Bob Dob. These three members of Satan's messenger service are in a special grayscale color edition and are limited to 100 pieces each.

MR. BUMPER - GRAYSCALE EDITION: In keeping with the silent movie aesthetic, Jim Woodring's amazing Frog Boss returns in his final color variant. Limited to 100 pieces.

SHIKITO - GLOW EDITION: The poop returns and this time it glows! This limited run of last year's Shikito vinyl is in a special glow in the dark version and limited to only 50 pieces.

MINITREEHOUSE TODDLERS: This cute toddler is a special mini figure packaged with Arkski the next release from the Minitreehouse vinyl line by Nathan Jurevicius. This special SDCC exclusive features Arkski's Toddlers random-packed in five color versions. Pick the special Platinum color version and win a special prize!

TOKIDOKI: Something very special awaits tokidoki fans at the STRANGEco booth this year. What could it be?

PLUS three surprises... see a hint below.

I'm reading the Richard Matheson book right now. As near as I can tell, it's NOTHING like the movie. Sprawling, urban, Greater Los Angeles and contained, claustrophobic Manhattan are about as different as you can get, setting wise. Why does noone think of this BEFORE they make the movie??
