Heralding the fourth installment in the iconic, billion-dollar Terminator franchise, The Halcyon Company's production of Terminator Salvation - debuting May 22, 2009, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Sony Pictures - Playmates Toys will launch an edgy line of collectible action toys targeting kids and collectors. With a strategic vision for establishing a solid action toy segment for the next several years, the initial film window launch will include a full assortment of fully-articulated action figures (multiple scales) featuring new, never-seen-before Terminators; battle-ready replica vehicles; and signature role play items: the Terminator T-600 Voice ‘n' Vision Skull with authentic red light-up eyes, voice changer/sound effects and the Terminator Deluxe T-600 Fist that vibrates, fires and emits sounds. In the Fall, kids and collectors can build their world and collections out with the Skynet playset: assortments of six new figures in basic (3¾") and deluxe scales (6"); several new signature vehicles including remote control and skin peeling Terminators in super size (10"); and much more.

i think the line is dead. playmates is not doing the new john connor figure anymore. thats whats been told on fwoosh. i just hope that the harvester makes it anyway. sad actualy. i hoped for more but it seems that i am the only one anyway talking about them here @loll@ i could have seen this coming @loll@ playmates should tell peaple whats going on. i think that wave 2 could have been better then the others. knowing that some terminator 2 even terminator 1 figures had been on the way. fans should have supported the line a little more. the sales could have been better if playmates had released them everywhere like star trek. i find the star trek figs everywhere but no sign of the terminator figs.

what no news around here either? hmmmm. then i come up with some. over at fwoosh, they have a picture of the new 3 3/4 john connor with bale likeness. the figure is

what can i say, for playmates standards...................................

@##@@ amazing. i would never imagine that playmates would made it but they deliver big time. remember that some star trek figs actualy looked like the actors? spock for instance? this is the same. he looks great. i hope that the line does well and that they go on. at least the 3 insh line should go on. the 6insh line is pretty crappy.

I actually prefer the 6" inch line over the 3" inch.

glad that you like them. for me, they arent my style. i prefer neca figs for this kind of figures. i buyed a 6insh marcus and t-600 but i was more hyped when i buyed them. when i opend them, they were a big let down in a way. i ove the 3 insh figs for army building and the harvester will fit well with this line. i got the hk yesterday and it is amazing. a little small but great.

so? any news from playmates at the con?

shokker - 2009-07-02 @ 11:10 pm

thats the 3 insh scale. this pic is one of the first of him. i dont know if he will look like that because playmates said that they are working on a new head sculpt. this is the version before they had to cover his face. sdcc will bring some news, i hope.

I took some pics of my Moto Terminators. Unfortunately the flash killed it. If you hold it in your hands, its just killer.

There is a button on top of the Terminator which when pressed, the handle bar pops out, the front panel opens up and the spikey metal thingie transforms into a seat for John. Also, underneath there's a stand which opens & closes and the guns/missiles pops out. Awesome action figure.

it looks realy great. i hope to get mine soon. next week they must arrive. cant wait to have them in hand. those bike were awesome in the movie. loved when john played the guns n roses song to catch one of these bikes

Are these 6 inch or the horrible 3 3/4 inch scale?

What's John look like? Really, got a pic?

Edit: Nevermind, I found one.

i got them today and they are fantastic. i received them an hour ago. the bikes are great but the figure on the other hand what a waste of plastic.
