Marvel Select Spider-Man Figure Delayed

Eric Lyga from Diamond Select Toys sends us this update on the status of the upcoming Marvel Select Spider-Man figure:

"Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances (including horrific weather in Hong Kong, boat shortages, and labor strikes in Long Beach ), Diamond Select Toys regretfully announces that the Ultimate Spider Man action figure that was guaranteed to ship in September will not make it out during the month promised. We hope to receive the figure soon and have it processed for shipment during the month of October, but this is not definite. The Punisher Action Figure, slated for October release, will ship shortly after the Ultimate Spider-Man figure. Retailers concerned about the guarantee of their shipment may contact Diamond Comic Distributors for details."

I talked to Eric a bit about this yesterday, and rest assured they are doing everything they can to get these to you as soon as possible.
