Diamond Select Toys is excited to announce our newest license, Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster X-Men 3. Under an agreement from Marvel Entertainment, DST will start development and production of several collectible product lines based on the X-Men 3 feature film with a planned release date of spring 2006.

“The addition of X-Men 3 to DST’s licenses will give us the opportunity to bring classic X-Men characters to life with the likenesses of actors from the film. The X-Men products will be popular with fans of the comics and films alike,” Mike Leavey, Marketing Supervisor for Diamond Select remarked.

DST’s X-Men 3 line is expected to include statues, busts and Minimates. Gentle Giant Studios, who scanned the actors from the film, will complete the statues and busts which will feature the X-Men 3 actors’ likenesses for the first time. Line plan information and images will be available at the upcoming International Toy Fair.

Marvel’s X-Men 3 is currently in production and will be released globally on May 26, 2006. With a cast of characters including Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, Halle Berry as Storm, Kelsey Grammer as Beast and Ian McKellen as Magneto, this all-star lineup is sure to be a block-buster sensation!
