Blade Runner Figure By Hemble
: Jay Cochran - 2008.04.20
This week's TNI Cool Custom is of a "Blade Runner
" figure by Hemble.
Here is how Hemble describes the making of it:
"When I first got the Disney 7" Indy Figure I was wondering what othet Ford characters I could make, and while looking thru a DVD catalogue I saw the special edition Blabe runner DVD an dthen I knew straight away I was going to make Rick Deckard next.
Figure - The figure is the Disney figure I removed his jacket so I could add a new one and the head has had some sculpty clay added to the hair and reshaped.
Clothing - The shirt was trimmed and sanded down and sculpty clay was used to make a new collar, the shirt was then repainted and a tie was add using some left over pleather. The inner coat is some old cloth I had lying around cut to size and glued in place, The main jacket is from Marvels Gambit I cut of the sleeves and reapainted it.
Belt, Holster & Pistol - the belt is old rubber strip I have in the bits box, the buckle is a piece of plastic cut to size and shape. The holster is made from left over leather and the pistol is made from the Disney Indy webley and parts from Artasylums Enterprise pistols.
