2011 Toy Fair: New Images Of Transformers Starscream Skystriker with Cobra Commander

by Outsiders
February 12, 2011
During the Hasbro presentation, it was announced that a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive would be the Transformers Starscream Skystriker with Cobra Commander and Megatron Blaster.

Bad news is the Starscream Skystriker doesn't transform and is a redeco of the regular Skystriker but still looks pretty cool... We have new images of both the Starscream Skystriker and the Cobra Commander figure that come with it.

This looks like it'll be a fairly easy custom to make. I could see myself doing one of these when I get back from the 'Stan.

I'd very intersted to see what a good night raven/starscream would look like. That could be neat. Your mention of custom sparked an image of the newer roc one, but a classic would be good too. Anyone ever done that?

This was bought up on Pixel Dan's site and I was curious what you guys would think about this

What about other releases of this joining of both franchises

Like:

Destro with Thundercracker and a little camera painted as of course Reflector

Baroness w/Skywarp and she has a little tape deck aka Soundwave

Then I thought of a Joe version

Duke with Powerglide.. a repaint of a Cobra Rattler

What do you think?

I am still pissed about the "Slaughter Fiasco"...

i think we all are.

i thought they were going to release a retail version... Has anyone heard anything?...

they said they were... but at a later Q and A they said they weren't. Something probably fail through with WWE.

I'm still sad the figure doesn't match the beefy card art.

i hear ya on the card art not matching. i wanted a 25th srg but wanted him to look like the toon.

Only way it could be better if it were available to every fan who wants one.

Its a great idea... the two of the biggest characters on two of the biggest shows of the 80's in one set...and they were voiced by the same person!

Shame I'll never own one....
