We've showed you all of these figures before, but now thanks to the folks at Bandai we have new hi-res images for both their 8" Classic line and their 4" & 6" figures based on the new Animated series.

First up are new looks at the 8" Lion-O and Tygra figures which are based on their appearances from the original 80's cartoon series.

Each of these 8” figures are very detailed and contain 18 points of articulation. Lion-O comes with two versions of his classic Sword Of Omens. One version with the blade extended and another version with it shortened which will fit in his Claw glove. Tygra comes with two versions of his whip. One extended and one not extended. Both figures also come with a interchangeable hand, one for holding the weapon and one for general purposes.

Next up are Bandai's figures based on the new animated series. If you haven't seen these yet, be sure to check out the two trailers for the new series which will air on Cartoon Network later this year.

The 21st century reimagining of the series marks a creative collaboration between WBA and Studio4°C, one of the most vibrant animation studios in Japan, with credits including “The Animatrix,” “Gotham Knights” and “Halo Legends.” WBA is working closely with Studio4°C, utilizing the latter’s expertise to give the “ThunderCats” characters a new cutting-edge look while remaining true to the compelling storylines and mythology of the original series.

ThunderCats tells the story of a hero’s journey to fulfill his ultimate destiny. On Third Earth, the kingdom of Thundera is being threatened by the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra, and Lion-O, the young heir to the throne, embarks on a great quest to take his rightful place as king. The unlikely champion must work with his faithful comrades Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, WilyKit, WilyKat, and his loyal pet, Snarf — who join him on his journey — to save their world from darkness.

ThunderCats from Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold), with Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Wonder Woman) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) producing.
