It's getting better. I wish they wouldn't have slim down Lion-O's Physique. He's a lion for crying out loud. He should be bigger. Mumm-Ra has spindly legs when he's transformed also.

Actually he is more like a brooding Anakin before he turned to the Dark side

Please don't compare Lion-O to anything from those horrible prequels. I don't see Lion-O going around killing kids, being easily manipulated, and choking his future mother of his children.

Different story here Lion-O won't go tot the darkside but there are some things here reminding me of Anakin

I don't mind Kevin doing Panthro's voice. I'm use to his stuff by now. It's no worse than when he did The Joker's voice on The Batman cartoon.

Oh that was him?

the ONLY Joker voice for me is Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill

I hear that

the core characterization from the original series is so far removed that it is hard to relate.

That's a good way to put it, and I agree with you.

It's still really entertaining for me, but it's radically different. There's not a lot that's similar other than the names and some of the looks.

I'm used to shows changing Hey Transformers has been different for years.GI Joe also..I expected this. The way I see it this should of been a story of the decendants of the origional Thundercats. They are already on third earth and knew of Mumm-Ra

Oh and I like the reference to the Samoflange, that was one of the best outtakes from the original series.

I am really not feeling either Lion O or Tigra. Lion O is an ass and Tygra is an ass, both are too stupid over each other to be effective which I guess is could be true to life but it just makes me not like either one of them. Panthro was ok,. I don't know where they are going with this Mumm Ra thing, but Mumm Ra has magic and technology as well. That pyramid had electronics and stuff, so I am wondering how this all will be explained. Visually its the most stunning cartoon to come out in years, especially one made for an American audience which makes for an interesting contrast of Bandai's "toy" look for the figures. The action is also good, Panthro was tearing those creeps up with his nunchucks, something he would never of done in the original, he would sooner hit a branch to fall on you than actually whack you with it. I don't know how much I like this new direction but I do admit they make very good stories but it just doesn't feel like the Thundercats to me, the core characterization from the original series is so far removed that it is hard to relate. Also I don't like Panthro's war scars, to many of them.

Rock The Plank you're funny. I may buy a classic Lion-O soon. I just don't have the cash for figures like I use to.

I'm sure they're doing the Lion-O has to mature thing. Yea he's not doing anything too great right now but there will be great things in the future because this show is awesome! I also think instead of trying to give them all of them screen time each show they should focus on 2 or 3 cats at a time. The shows seems alittle rushed because they're trying to fit in so much story for all the characters.

I liked the MUM-RA Tank in the last episode haha
