FOX has ordered a full season of the DC Comics-inspired crime drama LUCIFER, picking up an additional nine episodes, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. This brings the total order to 22 episodes for the 2016-17 season.

"LUCIFER continues to deliver, with great blasts of dark humor and ambitious storytelling. The show has turned out to be a true wicked pleasure, the perfect companion to GOTHAM, and we couldn't be more pleased to order these nine additional episodes," said Madden. "We'd like to thank Tom, Lauren and the entire cast, who have imbued these characters with charm, humor and a great deal of humanity. Our thanks also go out to the production crew - Jerry, Len, Jonathan, Joe and Ildy - who, week-in and week-out, deliver a stellar show. We can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the season."

Season-to-date, LUCIFER is averaging 8.0 million multi-platform viewers, posting a +105% jump vs. Live + Same Day.

Tonight, LUCIFER continues a run of five uninterrupted episodes, through Monday, Nov. 28.

In tonight's all-new Halloween-themed episode of LUCIFER, "Monster," airing 9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT, on FOX, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) clashes with Chloe (Lauren German) during an investigation, leading her to team up with Dan (Kevin Alejandro) instead. Meanwhile, Amenadiel (DB Woodside) bonds with Charlotte (Tricia Helfer), and Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) takes Trixie (Scarlett Estevez) trick-or-treating.

Based upon the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo, from DC Entertainment, LUCIFER is the story of the original fallen angel. Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with LAPD detective CHLOE DECKER to take down criminals.

LUCIFER is produced by Warner Bros. Television, in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Aggressive Mediocrity. The series is based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo, from DC Entertainment. Tom Kapinos ("Californication") wrote and executive-produced the pilot. The series is executive-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson. Len Wiseman serves as director and executive producer. Kapinos serves as executive consultant on the series.
