Entertainment Weekly has learned that the status of Tom Felton has changed and will no longer be a series regular for the fourth season of The Flash.

Felton joined the show as a series regular in season 3 as Flashpoint creation Julian Albert, Barry’s CSI lab partner who turned out to be Doctor Alchemy and was also a love interest to Caitlin Snow. At the end of season 3, the show jumped ahead by at least six months and it appears that Julian has left the team. The character was also missing from the new season 4 footage in the recently released trailer and Felton was also not in attendance at the Comic-Con.

The Flash returns Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
