Takara Tomy Shareholders Exclusive Transformers Pokemon Set

This year Takara made an exclusive toy set for Takara Tomy Co., Ltd. (7867:Tokyo Stock Exchange) shareholders. The set includes a red die-cast truck paying homage to the Transformers movie in Japan and a Pickachu the Movie 10th ChoroQ mini-truck.

Strangely enough, the Transformers truck does not transform. However, fans in Japan are no strangers to such novelties. Japanese candy toy maker Kabaya and Takara's own ChoroQ line have offered fans and collectors a number of other Transformers themed die-cast and ChoroQ vehicles. If you look closely, you'll see even the accompanying ChoroQ mold was a BotCon Japan exclusive Convoy in a previous life.
