Prozac sends us a review of the new G.I.Joe vs. Cobra Fire Storm with Wild Bill and Cobra Tread Fire with Cobra Coils from Hasbro.

Fire Storm with Wild Bill

Had this vehicle not come with a new cool looking Wild
Bill, I probably wouldn't have bought it. The vehicle
is a re-use of the Cobra Fang III chopper with some
small changes that help the looks of it a big. The
main change to it is that a windshield has been added
to the "cockpit" if you want to call it that. The only
other difference is the color, the missile and the
sound attack weapon. The green could be toned down a
bit IMO, just a little to bright for me. The sound
attack weapon is really cool looking I think, a small
chain gun. It'll look better on some other vehicles,
but it really helps the overall look of the copper.
Decently armed with the dual cannons in front,
launching missile underneath and the chain gun. With
the exception of the different sound attack weapon,
all the sounds are the same as the Fang III.

Wild Bill is probably the high spot of this pack. He's
the same mold as the wave 4 version, only he's in all
dark green with silver and black highlights. Only
accessory he comes with is a re-colored version of the
helmet that came with wave 4 Duke. It is just a tad
bit too big, but if you position it right on his head,
it should stay on just fine. He definitely looks like
a pilot with the helmet, and with the new color and
the helmet, he'll look simply awesome in the cockpit
of the first Night Attack Chopper.

Had this vehicle not come with a nice repaint of a
nice mold, I wouldn't have bought it. I'll definitely
be using Wild Bill and the sound attack weapon
elsewhere. Chances are I won't even keep the actual
chopper.

3 ½ stars (2 ½ stars without the figure)

Cobra Tread Fire with Cobra Coils

I wasn't sure what to think of this vehicle when the
pictures first showed up on the internet. I think the
thing that really makes it look odd is the fan on the
back. After opening it and getting a chance to play
with it, I really like it. It's a great small tank to
add to Cobra's armory(c'mon Hasnro, give Cobra some
bigger tanks!). The sound attack weapon is a rocket
launcher that can double as a hand held weapon for the
Coils trooper, thought the sound attack tab does get
in the way. The fan in the rear lifts up(or can even
be removed if desired), and a decoy with dual spring
loaded missiles can be removed from the tank and can
roam freely from the tank. The decoy tank has a GI Joe
logo on it, so while coils in the main tank is
distracting any Joes in the area the decoy can go by
unnoticed and do some damage at point blank range if
needed. The decoy even has a foot board with a peg on
it for a figure that folds down on the back of it.

There is only one problem with Coils, his hands are so
wide open he can barely hold any weapons. His right
hand can hold a weapon with a large handle. Sand
Vipers is one that comes to mind. He actually looks
rather good with it too. I really hope they fix this
before he's released with the 2 pack in wave 7.
Otherwise there will be a lot of un-happy collectors
out there. The mold is pretty nice looking. For the
most part it's simple, but not so simple that the
figure looks boring. The head dons a mask over his
mouth and nose reminiscent of the old Troopes and
soldiers. With his helmet on he looks a little sci fi-
ish, but not in a bad way.

I can definitely see myself getting one or two more of
these, but not more than that as I'm not a big army
builder anymore. Definitely worth the $10-12 price tag.
