Every Friday by 5 PM ET, TNI along with a few other select outlets will be able to submit 3 questions that we would like posed to the Hasbro's Star Wars brand team. All questions submitted will be reviewed and answers to a select few will be posted on http://www.Hasbro.com/StarWars the following Friday afternoon. Though only a sampling of all questions received will be posted to Hasbro’s site each week, they will make their best effort to respond directly to each editor with answers to all submitted questions. Here are the questions we sent in for week two along with Hasbro's answrers.
TNI: Are there any plans for a poseable 6" Marvel Legends style line of Star Wars action figures?
Hasbro: There are no plans at this time for us to do a Marvel Legends-style series.
TNI: What are the plans for the Expanded Universe?
Hasbro: A lot of great characters have been created in the Expanded Universe and we do plan to include some in the 2007 line. We can't release more details than that, but stay tuned.
TNI: Will we ever see Darth Sidious' lightsaber?
Hasbro: I doubt it. The problem is that it is the tiny hilt and blade, which do not make as heroic a statement to kids. I know Yoda says "Judge me by my size, do you?" but it's not very high on the kid demand list for lightsabers.
