Each month we submit 5 reader-generated questions to the Hasbro design team for G.I.Joe. Here is the latest batch of questions and answers for October:

TNI: Will the figures in the special wave of single-carded box set figures coming out at the end of the year be the exact same figures as those already released, or will some of the joint and articulation problems be fixed on these versions?

Hasbro: They will be exactly the same as the figures in the box sets. Look for new articulation in the first wave of 2008.

TNI: Exactly what will people have to do to get the very cool-looking Doc mail-away figure shown at this year's Con?

Hasbro: To get Doc, fans will have to send in 6 proof of purchase stickers from the Comic Packs.


TNI: Can you tell us more about the rank building evolution type sets to be released at TRU stores (as announced at this year's Con)? How many figures will be released in each set, what figures will be in the initial sets, and will these be new figures or just re-released ones?

Hasbro: We will be debuting these at the GI Joe Club soon. These packs will have three figures and highlight the ranks of both Cobra and GI Joe.


TNI: Will the new IG Destro have a soft good cape or a hard plastic cape?

Hasbro: This will be soft goods.


TNI: Word at the convention was that a Crimson Guard Commander comic 2-pack would be released in the second wave of comic packs. Is this true?

Hasbro: Other than the wave 1 Comic Pack characters, we've only confirmed the Dreadknoks comic pack.
