Eh, the outdated weapons don`t bother me. Just look at it as a personal preferance the characters have. The Joes always seemed to have weapons of their own choice so maybe R&R just liked that weapon the best. I have my own preferance with handguns so why not them?

That wasn't my point - neither the MG3 or Browning M2 are outdated, because they're still in use!!!

The only weird one is Stalker's MP40...

Yeah, I was wondering about the mp40 as well.....maybe it used to be a good weapon for rangers.....

They look cool, I really like Torpedo and CC, but R and R is cool too. Sometimes I think that the images that we see are not too thought out by marketing, such as R and R, his head just looks weird. CC is the main one that I am digin' and he has both open hands

As for the carry onvers, that is cool with me, I only see a few SS and SE on the shelves where ever I go at least. Now bring on the B.A.T.S.

Wow! Torp and RR look great! Can't wait to see what's going on under that CC helmet.

yeah I was wondering about the mg42 as well.......when is this line being released and why is there only 4 figures . I would like to see bludd in there....

Well, look at it this way, the M2 Browning .50 cal is a WWII weapon as well. No one cared when Roadblock came with it! Same thing, except it's a German weapon.

Love torpedo!!! CC battle armour is cool as well. Rock and roll seems to be missing something... maybe he will be better hi res, but love them.

This line is killer...

I'm loving that torpedo, RR looks cool to.. I'll probably pass on the CC, never really cared for him.. well, unless he has a removable helmet and there's a Fred head under it.

Glad to see Rock & Roll - he's one of my all time favorites and we're getting real close to the original 13. Hopefully, Steeler and Clutch aren't far behind.

Looks to me that ROck and ROll is sporting an MG42, not an M60. which is to say why would he be carrying a WWII era German machine gun?

I'll just add something someone else said on another board... it could be a MG3. (link)

I knew someone was going to bring that up, and you're exactly right. Basically an MG3 IS an MG42, but it's such a good design that the Germans are still using it, albeit somewhat modernized.
