Each month we submit 5 reader-generated questions to the Hasbro design team for G.I.Joe. Here is the first batch of questions and answers for 2008:
TNI: What company will be getting the G.I.Joe comic book license?
Hasbro: Keep a look out, we hope to have an official press release any day.
TNI: Will we see non-movie (25th or Joe vs. Cobra) based toys released along with the movie line in 2009?
Hasbro: In Spring 2009 you will continue to see a classic based line and Summer 2009 will be a movie line. Not to worry, the 3 3 /4'' movie designs are based on 25th anniversary.
TNI: Will the movie toys be in the same scale and style as the current 25th anniversary line?
Hasbro: We will be exploring a number of scales for the movie, but plan on having a strong 3 3/4'' business based on the anniversary line.
TNI: Can you tell us about this year's San Diego Comic Con exclusives for G.I.Joe?
Hasbro: We are planning a special reveal on GI Joe.com..keep your eyes open for it. It is a worthy follow up to last year's Destro.
TNI: Are the Cobra Vamp and CLAW which were mentioned in a recent Hasbro PR still in the works, and will this Cobra Vamp be the Cobra Stinger?
Hasbro: The Cobra CLAW will be debuted at Comic Con in July. The "Cobra VAMP" as it was referred to in a press release is in fact the Stinger and will be seen in 2009.
