Here is a look at sets 1 & 2 of Hasbro's new G.I.Joe DVD Battle sets. There will be a total of 5 sets released and each one will have a piece to build a M.A.S.S. Device as seen in the orginal 80's G.I.Joe animated mini-series.
Set 1 includes the following items:
- The 5-Part animated mini-series "M.A.S.S. Device" DVD
- 4 figures (Snake-Eyes w/Timber, Cobra Soldier w/M.A.S.S minerals, Baroness (Scuba Gear), Stalker w/Jetpack)
- 1 M.A.S.S. Device Piece
- Weapons & Gear
Set 2 includes the follwing items:
- The 5-Part animated mini-series "The Revenge Of Cobra" DVD
- 3 figures (Roadblock, Lady Jaye Cartoon Version, Destro)
- Strangler Vine
- 3 components of Destro's Weather Dominator
- 1 M.A.S.S. Device Piece
- Weapons & Gear
Look for these to have a SRP of $19.99 each and should start hitting shelves in June.

I will purchase these when they hit retail. But I think I will not open mines up. I will leave them sealed in the box. If they go on clearance then I would purchase another and then open it. |

I like the idea and the look of these, but won't be getting them. To much in the way of duplicates, and I would like to think that since Hasbro now has the rights to the cartoon, they'll release the whole series at some point.
