I think this looks pretty good. I personally dig the SAW over a Ma Deuce.

I think an M60 wuld have been a better choice as a SAW fires 5.56X45mm rounds where an M60 fires 7.62X51mm and we've seen that Cobra Viper's armor from the first movie easily stops 5.56 rounds without effecting the Viper's speed or coordination.

We're going to have boring action figures again, aren't we?

@lol@

Yep, probably...but I think most of us already expected that much.

However, judging from this pic, I think the Rock fits the part of Roadblock pretty good. It'll be interesting to see how this movie turns out.

mmm.. I don't know... looks kinda boring and generic... like any random soldier.

I would have definitely preferred a RAH look.. Hopefully he will have other looks in the movie.. with a tank top or sleeveless.. something more like Roadblock

From a figure stand point why would you want that? We all ready have a modern RAH Roadblock. I dont want an entire team in black armor but I don't want rehashes of figures I already have either.

well, I was thinking more of the movie.. and what I want the characters to look like for the movie

but as for the 25th Roadblock figures.. they all suck

and if he looks like this in the figures, well I already have several figures that look pretty similar to that too

That's my thought exactly. You don't want to go with black armor and a completely "vintage" look would only yeld figures that look like what we already have (and face it, a camo wife beater isn't going to look THAT exciting in real life). This is about as well in the middle as you can get.

Ha, not matter what the box office says Green Lantern is still a better film than that boring Captain America and from the way Joe 2 is shaping up, GL will be better than that too.

Hey is Joe 2 a continuation of the first or a reimaging

No way, GL wasn't as horrid as some said, but Cap was by far a better movie. and Gjoe 2 is a continuation at least loosely. Since most the actors from the first movie are not returning I am not sure how much of the first movie will play a role in this one, but its not a reboot or such.

GI JOE at the movies should of been a hit

Information about the second movie means they should quit

Sure the Rock looks good as Roadblock

But with these movies they need to stop

Hey, I've been trying to come up with a rhyme for the Green Lantern movie, but I'm no poet. Mind if I steal your first two lines? I think they'd fit perfectly

Honestly, looking at it again, this is pretty much exactly how I would visualise a GI Joe in the movies. I know it's just one picture though. Is it OK to have a smidgen of hope???

I'm glad Dwayne shaved his head for this,he wouldn't have pulled it off otherwise(actually nobody with hair would have).I can't wait to see what his action figure is gonna look like! @pun@

Totally agree. The .50 cal is NOT a personal weapon that one dude carries around, regardless of how big he is. That weapon is meant to be set up on a mount, not held in two hands. Especially since with the new 25th figures, they implied that Roadblock should hold the gun by the barrel. Now that's not very smart. The M2 might be more iconic for those that are wanting to relive RAH memories, but it makes absolutely no practical military sense.

You're also not looking at the first photo of the character and going, "What the f....?" like you were with Breaker, Ripcord, and just about anyone else from the first movie. So there's another plus.
