The Hasbro/Devil's Due G.I.Joe Fan's Choice Figure Pack Poll Update

GI Joe: Jay Cochran - 2004.10.14
A few weeks ago, we told you that the folks at Devil's Due had teamed up with Hasbro to run a poll where YOU could vote to decide which characters (based on their appearance from the G.I. Joe Comic) from Devil's Due would be made into a comic book figure 3-pack from Hasbro. Since then, many people have asked us about the sculpting style for these figures: Classic Real American Hero (RAH) style sculpts (like the ones used for the current comic 3 packs based on the Marvel Comic series now released from Hasbro) or the modern style sculpts (like the ones released in the current Valor vs. Venom line)? We asked the folks at Hasbro this question, and they tell us they will be using modern figures.

We also decided to go through each of the issues Devil's Due has selected for their poll and take actual scans of the charaters they have listed for you to vote on. It should be noted that in several of the issues the characters appear to have differences (ex. Hawk's uniform or more than one type of Coil Trooper in issue 23). We even had to go to issue #23 to find a picture of Overlord cause we could not find him in issue #22. So, we don't know for sure if the characters in these scans are exactly how they would appear in figure form if they win the poll. This is just to give you a general idea of who the characters actually are. So without further ado, here are the scans.

Issue 1: Scarlet, Crimson Guard, Duke in Suit

Issue 4: Mistress Armada, Alexander McCullen (With Removeable Mask), Cobra Soldier

Issue 6: Storm Shadow, Zartan, Zanya

Issue 16: Spirit, Cover Girl, Hanibal

Issue 22: Serpentor, Overlord, Roadblock

Issue 23: Lady Jaye, Mercer, Hawk

Issue 24: Coil Trooper, Zandar, Firewall

Issue 25: Overkill, Firefly, Outback

Issue 28: Mayday, Mariner, Raptor Viper

Issue 31: Heartwrencher, Wraith, Lt. Falcon

The deadline to cast your vote is Nov. 15th 2004, so if you haven't already be sure to head over to Devil's Due website and cast your vote now.
