Razmanshah scores the first images of Hot Toys upcoming The Dark Knight - 1/6 Scale Movie Masterpiece Bank Robbery Joker figure. This figure is slated to be released overseas in November-December 08. Though it would seem likely, no official word if DC Direct will import this figure here to the U.S.

Yeah, this one is jaw dropping. I passed on the 1st version because the head sculpt just wasn't doing it for me, especially at that price. But now I'm planning on buying both and doing a head swap. Then I'll have defintive versions of both outfits. I was waiting for a company to step up and finally give us a perfect Joker, since I found them all to have pros and cons.

The "Joker Bank Robber" figure is one of their best ones yet. The head sculpt is amazing!!

it looks EXACTLY like Heath ledger, like a photograph!

Hot toys is neither American nor Japanese. It is a company in Hong Kong

The toy is a lot simply for bein a limited run like all 12 inch figures. If cornerstorecomics ever sell these, I suggest buyin there since their prices are always lower than others. As for buyin it opened, don't expect to save a lot. A lot of ppl in the hobby buy loose (a lot of online shops break up some of their stocks as loose parts) and those tend to fetch a quite a penny

I mean, a weapon from hot toys goes for 11-25. Somethin like a H.toys p90 is 20 bucks at monkeydepot.com

That fig looks great, sadly I am strap esp having to borrow 130 from a sibling for a 1/6 military video game figure

I don't know what kind of resiloution you guys get on your computer screens, or if this is something print media offers that LCD screens don't. But I down loaded all the pic of BRJ off the news boards & had them printed out on 4X6 prints.

OMG! what a photo spread!!! The texture of the fig's flesh under the make up, the look of cold steel of the automatic asult rifle, the detail of the duffle bag & all the grenades & smoke bombs (side note, did any one catch on the the smoke bomb was a nod to classic Joker's use of gas to kill).

I also love the way the artis choose to have each head's eyes looking in a differant direction. slick back eyes look straight at you with total intent to kill. crazy hair looks off to the side as if he ploting his next kill. Or maby its safe to say the guy is just plain pyco!! & we'll never know the true nature of the wicked black mass that has become his soul. waiting for this fig IS KILLING ME!!!!

I was very impressed by this line. The bank robber joker figure has a great sculpt, great accessories, etc. - and is personally my choice for 1/6 figure of the year (although I still have a couple more months to be dazzled by new offerings).

The Dark Knight was such an incredible movie... I'm happy to see that some of the movie memoribillia holds up to the same standards.

Pre-ordered mine. Never got the 1st HT Joker. At first I was bummed such an awesome head was not with his standard outfit but then I figured it's worth it if I can pose him like the movie scene where he's waiting on the corner for the van to pick him up. I know, it's a waste of such an awesome sculpt to have him facing the wall but it's my figure and I'll do as I please.
