MattyCollector.com announced at the New York Comic-Con that the upcoming Man-At-Arms would have a secret accessory and it turns out to be the 2002 Power Sword!

Why the Power Sword? according to Mattel, Man-At-Arms is a great inventor and helped construct an electronic version of the Power Sword for Adam to use until he could unite both halves of the sword of King Grayskull so be sure to mark your calendar for July 15th, when Man-At-Arms goes on sale only at MattyCollector.com

MAA should've been included in the subscription service. I'm guying to have a tough time ordering him at work cause the guy the sits opposite from me doesn't take leave on Wednesdays. And July 15th is a Wednesday. Anyway, the guy at work is pretty curious and really has nothing to do except watch me from behind. I'm sure he'll have quite a few good stories to tell the supervisors if they see me wasting time buying action figures online.

Plus the hassle of triple charging my credit card for one-day shipping is just annoying. I don't trust Matty's economy shipping due to the other people's horror stories and ordered Merman and Faker with rush delivery.

im glad that the line is doing well. maybe a remake of the 200x version of the characters will be in the near future.

In one of the June 1 Q&A's, Toyguru announced that October and December will be good guys, so with He-Ro hitting in July (whom I forgot about), things will be pretty even by the end of the year.

Thanks for clarifying that. I'm going to assume that at least one of them will

possibly be Teela she's the most obvious choice at this point, however I wonder who

the 2nd one is, hopefully an obscure character.

I also assume Teela will be one of them. And with the 8-back being complete with her release, I'm curious to see who the other good guy will be. Will they branch out in a big way after the 8-back, or will they stick closer to original release order? I'd also prefer someone obscure just to remind everyone that this line is all-encompassing and not a straight rehash of the '80s releases.

Tri-Klops is supposed to come with a secret accessory too, I guess it'll be Skeletor's connecting swords?

Well if man at arms as a 2k heman sword maybe triklops will have some sort of 2k fakor sword or accessory ?!

Grabbed this pic from the fwoosh...tri-klops definitely comes with a ring, like his original figure did. No 200x swords here.

triklops looks cool!

Might get this guy after all. I'm just getting sick of all the villains they're dong now. Webstor, Tri-Klops, Hordak. Hope we don't get villains for the remaining releases of 2009.

Even before Webstor was announced, there were too many villains. I was kind of surprised they chose another villain for September. They've definitely gone overboard. They better go with heroes for October, November, December, and maybe January just for good measure.

But to be honest, this truly doesn't surprise me considering that villains do out number heroes as far as the core

MOTU characters are concerned. Perhaps Mattel is just thinning out the ranks, its possible that atleast one more

hero might make a 2009 release, but I wager that 2010 will be hero heavy, which if they tap into POP it will be.

If Mattel insist on just releasing villains for the remainder of 2009 then I hope they do some obscure or never

before released character.

I like the sword. What a shame that I don't get the figures.
