The Winter Olympics are only one week away, and McFarlane Toys is ready to kick off this year's winter games with three premier players from the Team Canada 2010 hockey squad.
Forwards Sidney Crosby and Jarome Iginla, and goaltender Roberto Luongo make up this three figure assortment. The lineup, similar to our other 2010 sports product, will feature both a base figure and a Bronze Collector Level figure.
Canada was king of the Olympics in the tournament's early years, claiming six of the first seven gold medals between 1920 and 1952. The Games opened its doors to NHLers in 1998, and Canada ended a 50-year gold medal drought with its 2002 triumph. The Canadians are ready for another shot at gold, bringing some of the most prolific players in the sport to the ice.
