I lost interest in these. I think it best to devote all attention to MOTUC instead.

Are they making all the figures from the 80's line? Also, what about the alter egos of the characters?

I really hope so. I guess we will hear more at Comic Con but if there is a subscription set up like MOTUC I assume they would be able to pump out all the characters and if the line does well hopefully some vehicles.

Yes POWER LORDS!

I have been waiting for this reveal for a long time and now we have a look at what the toys will look like and after a couple of decades Lord Power finally has a back The sculpts look fantastic!

After being spoiled with the 6" - 7" scale of my MOTUC, DCU and NECA figures I was a little dissappointed to hear the Power Lord toys would be in the 3.75" scale but there are a couple of positives I see: (1) as someone else already mentioned this will keep the costs down and (2) this opens up the possibility of vehicles.

I saw one of the original drawings of the Powership and it did not look like a big ugly shoe It looked like a pretty sleek looking vehicle. I hope we see some vehicle prototypes or at least sketches at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con.

BTW, just to get caught up with the story line I was able to pick up the complete original comic book mini series from DC comics on E-bay for just .99 plus shipping. If you are interested in Power Lords I highly recommend you pick up the comics now. It is a great way to get to know about the story line and not have to worry about the original ugly toy designs. Something tells me once the news of these toys spreads the price of these comics will go up.

Yeah, the figures were kinda ugly. AND they broke real easily. I had Adam Power an the purple monster guy and both of them broke real quick. But I have fond memories of them.

I was never into the PL line as a kid either. Actually the chick that turned into that red creature kind of freaked me out as a kid. Looked like all her skin came off and we are looking at her guts. The figures were ugly too for what I remember. Wonder how many figures they are going to redo. Revell came out with them back in 1982.
