That's comforting to know.

Dan waaaaaaaaaaay overstates the ankle issue. They are nowhere near as bad as he makes out. The ankles are on mine are so tight I feel afraid to move them.

He looks great!

I'm sure I'll find away around the feet issues.

I am sure he looks awesome with a flight stand...

For what it's worth... I find bending the knees and tilting the legs outward from the crotch joints can aide in the figures ability to stand with both feet flat on the ground. When no ankle swivel is present, resort to other methods by using other articulation points.

It looks to me like it has loose joints at the ankles anyway, plus he's top heavy. Mods will need to be made to help him stand.

I like to use the clear, round, vintage Star Wars peg stands... the blue DCU ones work great too.

It's a shame, too. About half-way through the video, I was asking myself, "Why can't all MOTUC figures be this great?" and then the feet thing came into play.

Sure, I got it. Lots of new parts and moulds and all that, but damn, it's the little touches that can make or break a toy. Not being able to stand properly is straight out of the Star Wars POTF2 era... and that was almost 20 years ago.

I really liked this one from the first time I saw the pictures, even though I didn't remember his 200X episode. Now? I'm wondering what Skeletor will look like with those wings.

Mattel had to ruin a badass figure by giving him flat feet...

Monkey_Shuttle - 2013-10-14 @ 11:46 am

I would say customs since those wings peg into the armour. You could do a lot with just that, especially since they already match Skeletor.

Even though I'm not a fan of the 200X figures, I think he looks pretty cool... except for the feet. The feet look ridiculous. Still trying to decide if I should keep him for customs or if he should go in the "to be sold on ebay" pile.

Bummer about the ankles. Everything else is awesome, though.
