February 4th 2013 - First 4 Figures is happy to launch the second in our highly anticipated range of licensed SEGA All-Stars statues – Akira Yuki, front-man of the classic Virtua Fighter franchise. Virtua Fighter first launched as an arcade game in 1993, and has since gone on to be one of the most recognizable fighting video game series with release across numerous home consoles. The SEGA All-Stars range has already proven extremely popular with fans; pre-orders for the first release, Ryo Hazuki of Shenmue, sold out long before the release date.

Akira is a master of Hakkyoku-ken, and used his remarkable skills in this martial art style to claim victory in the second World Fighting Tournament. He is trained and well disciplined, so we have chosen pose him in his fighting stance, ready to strike his opponent at any moment. His base is styled to look like a weathered stone path, representative of the harsh environments he braves for battle.

Styled to a 1/6 scale and 12” tall, Akria will accurately match the SEGA All Stars range. As is customary of all of our pieces, he will be cast in polystone resin, with detailing and paintwork all finished by the hands of talented artists.

Akira Yuki is due for release in Q3 2014.
