You may recall back in August of last year some tiny images surfaced for Mattel's upcoming 6.5" DC Multiverse Signature Series Lynda Carter Wonder Woman figure. That figure has been MIA since then, not even shown at Toy Fair in February due to Mattel waiting for approval presumably from Carter herself. Well now via Experiencethewonder.com we have better images to share with you for that figure.
You will notice the word "Preliminary" stamped all over the images, likely because the figure still hasn't received final approval. This also indicates the final released version may vary some from what is shown here like hopefully having those lines down her legs removed.
The figure is based on Wonder Woman from the 70's live-action TV series which stared Lynda Carter in the lead role and will feature a red cloth cape imprinted with blue and white stars and stripes, gold plastic lasso, alternate pair of hands, display base, flight stand, full-color scenic background plate and foot pegs.
Look for the figure to be released in August presumably along with the Batman Returns Danny DeVito Penguin we saw at Toy Fair.
The figures in this Signature line retail for $25 each and do feature overall better articulation than the regular Multiverse figures Mattel has released.
The first two figures in this line include the Val Kilmer Batman Forever Batman and 90's Flash TV Series John Wesley Shipp Flash figures. You can check out reviews for both figures below.
