Yay, another good movie! I knew about Night at the Museum for a LONG time, about as long or maybe longer than Terminator. I'm not really surprised it beat out Terminator. NATM wasn't as funny as the first, but it has a wider audience that can see it... like kids. Most kids nowadays probably don't really remember the first Terminators or get the appeal.

Erica and I saw it and I thought it was awesome. Erica liked it too( YOU MUST NOW SEE THE FIRST 2, maybe 3!!!) It was cool to see John Connor become the leader of the resistence and how they brough in Arnold was fantastic. My biggest question- does this take place after the first three movies change continuity?

i finaly saw it and i must say, this movie rocks. it was amazing. i dont know where all these bad reviews come from. we have a perfect begining of a war. i was even surprised that marcus was the infiltrater unite. the movie has everything a terminator fan can wish for. damn they took it seriously and dont forget, mcg was a little guy in the movie buisness. he did as much as what he could to please the fans. he brought back schwarzenegger, hamilton. the t-600 were shown and so much more. air and water patrols. this is 11 years before 2029, the world we know from james cameron. the action was there and the story wasnt bad. the movie isnt as great as t-2 but it is so close. i hated t-3 because of all the nonsense they showed and this is way better. i just wish that every fan of the terminator franchise should get up and go check it out for a second time. watch t3 before you go and you will see what i mean. this movie deserves a sequel and i will watch it another 2 or 3 times. jayc, you are right with kyle's sidekick. she is a boring character. there are some holes thats right and some characters could be more developed but it was a hell of a comeback.

there are some things i dont realy get do. hottoys does t-700 figures and playmates too, but in the movie i just saw t-800 and t-600. was arnold the only t-800 and all those unfinished endos (who hang around) t-700? then dc direct hided the t-rip bust in shadows but there is no mention of it in the movie. the only infiltrater unit was marcus no?

not too much to it. they tried to hard to shoehorn everything in it...from Guns and Roses to the facial scar. it was "eh".

Weird how that happened

We knew that Terminator was coming out as far as a year ago and I never knew the Museum would have a sequel till about a month ago

I never heard a sequel for this movie announced either

just saw it tonight

only things i didn't like:

bale's batman voice throughout

the lack of any kind of nuclear fallout

the ending

overall it was pretty good. probaly the best movie i've seen in theaters recently. the guy playing Marcus did a great job imo. who was he? has he been in anything else?

His name is Sam Worthington and he is a relative new comer to US audiences, but you will be seeing him again soon in movies such as Avatar and the Clash of the Titans remake that is due out in 2010.

Though I don't agree the movie was nearly as good as you thought, I do agree that Sam's performance was probably the highlight of the film.

I left out that I haven't seen many movies in theaters recently lol. It wasn't fantastic but it was good. Kept my attention the entire time. kept me in the movie. The story could have used some more work and tweaking, but as far as action and visual effects go I feel I got what I paid for.(though they could have done without that 5 second shot of cgi arnie's face) i enjoyed it more than star trek at least.(not a fan of the shaky camera and extremely close fight scenes...or star trek for that matter ) ....

Sam really did steal the show imo. I found myself wanting the story to go back to him whenever it centered on John Connor.

I've been excited about the COTT remake for awhile. nice to know he'll be in it!

Umm, I haven't seen the last 3, no desire to. I like Christian Bale, however... So I will most definitely be seeing soon, probably this weekend. I'm sort of excited, but it seems we've been oversaturated with news about it, IMO.
