These looks pretty amazing and the price is just shocking. If these turn out half as good as the AI images then these will be outstanding. The native American and Asian warriors are most interesting since they're not something we really ever see.

Ooooh I see... Well, they are pretty smart by using it then... Hopefully the figures come similar to those arts man.???

Hmm... methinks maybe it's bad to try to market a fundraising project for a potential product using AI

Unfortunately, they likely won't be.
3 hours ago, Atlantis said:FYI, the AI renditions are not exactly what the figures will look like. From their site this is what the creators said:
"For our Wolf Primal were going to be somewhere between a Wolfman and more animalistic Werewolf design. All Primals will be naked. The Monkey Primal will look more human that the image above and will not be as adorned with accessories. All will be without accessories other than additional hands: fists, grasping clawed hands, and open clawed hands. No armor or clothing. 3 headsculpts for each figure; growling, open mouth snarling, and gritting teeth".
There will be other accessories coming later- don't know if that means crowns and necklaces but most likely belts, vambraces. These will be very, very cool.
Yeah, I knew these guys were in a little bit over their heads here when I saw that. I'll cut them some slack because this is their first Kickstarter and they got 80k+ of BBTS support, but these guys probably should have kept it at the Shaddar and held off on anything else until they went through the full process.
Anything they didn't at least have a sketch for they should have left for another time. They really shouldn't have put "Monkey King" or "Black Panther" in our minds with art designs they hadn't done themselves much less committed to. Basic primal versions with no promise of different hands & claws for a wolf or an ape man are also going to make that last tier a bad move.
On the other hand they have a lot of great unlocked tier designs on paper that will hopefully translate well into protos when they finally get to them. It'll take a good long while yet. In my opinion, early 2027.
I get it. I'm not defending them nor attacking, just putting the info out there because I know not everyone has read everything on their Kickstarter campaign. In fact, a lot of the backers thought the line ended with Athena. But the team has been making the rounds on youtube and what not talking about the figures beyond her. At any rate, forewarned is forearmed- and now you all are aware. Hopefully the finished product will cleave more closely to what the AI renders have.

It's kind of a **** cheat on their Kickstarter. The thing ends in about 33 hours. It would be nice for backers to see the real renders before that, but I get the feeling that's not gonna happen.

Understood. I don't disagree, I'm just clarifying in case anyone was thinking they'd order an ape primal and get the crown, necklace, jeweled vambraces and such.
As I understood it (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) they had these planned for the next wave, but due to the enormous success of the campaign, and the wishes of the backers, they added these at the last second. Especially when they brought in Not Lion-O. The pictures were just SOME thing they could put out so people could see what direction they wanted to go. Same for the female figures- they had no idea Athena would be as popular as she was.
