Joe, I just had the surreal feeling that I just read my own post; you expressed word-for-word how I feel about the matter. How weird... (lol)
There's a lot of artists I like who's work does not translate well to figures.
Michael Turner figures looked horrible, IMO. I know a lot of people are into those Ed McGuinness figures but I was never on board with those either. Even the Jim Lee Hush stuff was hit and miss. I do like a couple of those Capullo figures, Nightwing and Talon in particular look pretty sharp. But the Jae Lee stuff, yeah, it just looks weird.
I was just going to say something similar. Love his art... but those figures look weird.

Unfortunately, Jae Lee is one of those artists whose work is gorgeous, it just doesn't translate to 3 dimensions.
