DC Comics 6" Multiverse Wonder Woman Movie TRU Exclusive Figures

If you are a Wonder Woman fan, then you might be collecting Mattel's new wave of 6" DC Comics Multiverse figures which are based on the upcoming Wonder Woman movie. The basic wave includes figures of Queen Hippolyta, Princess Diana, Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman with coat. The Collect-And-Connect figure for the wave is Ares. Now if you got those four figures which have been out on shelves for several weeks now, you might be thinking your Ares figure is complete. Well you would be wrong. Mattel has sneaked out two additional figures for the wave which appear to be Toys R' Us exclusives.

There is a new Wonder Woman with out the coat and new headsculpt that comes with Ares shield. There is also a Menalippe figure which comes with Ares fiery swords. Now all these figures are listed on the Toys R' Us website, though the two exclusive figures aren't available for purchase there. I don't know if either figure has yet hit the brick and mortar stores.

One other thing to note about Menalippe. On the TRU website is clearly lists the figure as their exclusive. However I found the same figure listed on Amazon's website with a June 15 release date. I don't know if this is some type of joint exclusive, or maybe TRU just gets to release it first? We tried reaching out to Mattel several times about these unannounced exclusives, but never got any response back.
