"Volume 3 kicks off at the end of season 2 of the new cartoon. It briefly retells the end of Episode 38, where Evil-Lyn has sought out the Well of Darkness in search of Hordak and more power. The issue quickly moves into a 6-issue arc that is centered around the mysterious Faceless One. Over the course of the story, we learn more about Eternia's past, the roll the Snake Men played in how Eternia was shaped, and the importance of Skeletor and Evil-Lyn's past relationship."
