Castlevania Comes To The Nintendo DS

January 7, 2005
Konami has announced that they will be bringing Castlevania to the Nintendo DS. Tentatively slated to be called Castlevania DS, this game will continue the storyline started in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, which was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003.

taking place in 2036, one year after "Aria of Sorrow", we see our hero Soma Cruz return to stop the return of his arch-enemey Dracula.

Using the DS' touch-screen and wireless features, you as Soma must connect symbols in the right order using the stylus to open a magic seal. This will allow you to gather up the magic of your enemies. You can also capture soles of your fallen enemies and trade them with other DS players using the heandheld's wireless technology. This will boost the power of Soma to help you win the day.

Look fot Castlevania DS to be released in the fall 2005 for gamers in both Europe and North America.
