Capcom Debuts A Large Number Of Products Across Multiple Systems At E3 2005

Delivering original and compelling entertainment with titles ranging from intense urban fighting action to stylized epic adventures, Capcom's exciting line-up reinforces the company's commitment to providing quality products across multiple platforms.


Final Fight: Streetwise(TM) debuts at E3 2005 on the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system and Xbox(R) video game system from Microsoft(R). Set within Capcom's Final Fight universe, this mission-based action game calls for players to use their street smarts and powerful fighting skills to survive the back alleys of Metro City. Assume the role of Kyle Travers, a streetwise underground pit fighter and brother of the infamous Cody from the classic Final Fight series, who must try to solve his brother's disappearance. Explore dynamic 3D environments and encounter intense street fights where players use hand-to-hand and weapon combat. Shocking story twists and disturbing connections are made when Final Fight: Streetwise is released throughout North America this winter.

Okami is a new innovative adventure game for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system. In a bleak and desolate world comes an unlikely great white wolf empowered to bring forth light into the looming darkness. Mixing Japanese folklore and a stunning traditional Japanese art style, Okami tells the story of a mythical sun god who sets out to restore a world to its former beauty and glory. Onimusha(R): Dawn of Dreams is a new epic action game for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system. Based on the award winning, multi-million selling Onimusha franchise, Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams focuses on the destiny of a new hero whose courage and fortitude must withstand the adversaries that wait. This intense, urban action game features a twisting storyline filled with betrayal, warring cartels and hard-hitting battles. Players must use their wits and depend on their fists above all else, as they seek vengeance against their enemies. Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance includes multiple modes, diverse gameplay and an open format that offers players a high level of freedom. Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance is scheduled to release in North America this fall.

The famous blue action hero returns in this latest installment to Capcom's growing Mega Man anthology with the planned release of Mega Man(R) X Collection for the Nintendo GameCube(TM) and the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system. Mega Man X Collection revisits the celebrated Maverick Hunter with the library of classic Mega Man X games (Mega Man X through Mega Man X6) from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and PlayStation game console. Viewtiful Joe(TM) VFX Battle (working title) brings intense versus-style action to the series. Premiering on the Nintendo GameCube(TM) and PSP(TM) portable entertainment system, this game has Joe and his friends battling it out with their VFX powers to determine who will star in Captain Blue's latest production. In Viewtiful Joe(TM) DS (working title) a new mysterious syndicate invades the peaceful "Movie Studio" theme park and it's up to Joe to reestablish the tranquility that once was. Available for the Nintendo DS, the game will make full use of the handheld's dual-screen and touch-sensitive panel.
