Just to let you know Art Asylum, People are still looking forward to the Wrath of Khan communicator and the Klingon disruptor that are hopefully on their way. I think people are still dying for some new phasers, even though it isn’t too long since the cool TMP/TWOK phasers were released. I could imagine that, or the ST:V assault phaser, selling better than the TMP and TWOK models. I got the impression from the blog that an undisclosed prop might be underway as well. If that’s right, might you be in a position to give us an inkling of what it is?
DSTChuck: Right now we are concentrating production efforts on the TWOK communicator, however early development has begun on the next item but its too early for us to say what that will be.

Alright, you guys have heard the ENDLESS clamoring, crying, begging and pleading for you to produce a Phaser III (used in “Search for Spock”). It’s the ONLY Phaser that’s never been made by anyone in a licensed form before, and the only one that most of us need to complete our collections. The demand for a Phaser III is HUGE. If ever there was a “slam-dunk” product, this would be it. Please, please, please tell us that this long awaited piece is finally in development (or production) for your “Trek-Tech” line. I promise you, the sales numbers would make it well worth your while.
DSTChuck: Trek III phaser is one we have considered.

I love everything about your Trek Tech line, but have to ask a few quick questions. 1. Will the Enterprise Phase Pistol, Communicator make another appearance? 2. Will we ever see any other Trek Tech from Enterprise such as the scanner, MACO rifle, pistol, etc.? 3. Will we ever see any TNG, DS9, or Voyager Trek Tech? 4. What about a TOS rifle? Thanks and keep up the good work.
DSTChuck: Jay I think the Enterprise role-play items are retired, but at DST we like to say never say never. Tek based on other Trek series are possible. We have no plans any time soon to try and tackle the TOS rifle.

Firstly i love the work you guys have done. Both on figures, and ship/props. Excelent job. Keeps getting better and better. Though i have gotten out of the figure collecting phase. it’s just easier to get the ships and props. The TWOK PHASER WAS TOTALLY awesome. great job. love the enterprise-d as well. ok enough gushing. questions now. 1. Any more details on the klingon disruptor? 2. Any chance of a ST.III phaser and communicator like you’re doing for TWOK? 3. Any chance of tng/voy/ds9 type phasers?? (PLEASE SAY YES. PLEASE>) 4. do you need me to go around beating up people who complain about your figures being crap? I will. i think they are the best designed and best likeness on mass produced figures that aren’t $100 a piece on the market. so just say the word and i’ll get to pounding some of these idiots for you.
DSTChuck: Early development in Asia has begun on the Klingon disruptor, they are working the CAD file right now. I think we’d do the Trek 3 phaser before we would do the communicator. Thanks for the offer Adam but I do not think I want you out there as an assassin in the night avenging our Trek figures.

Hi. Can you post some more pix of the TOS geological tricorder, including in the packaging? Also, how about sharing some details on its functions. Last, is it still set for release in Oct. 2010?
DSTChuck: The Geological Tricorder is on the way from the factory now so I think Oct is no issue. I’ll check with graphics and the product manager to see if they can get more stuff up on the blog.

Hello. I see that you have produced models of the mirror mirror classic Enterprise and an HD Enterprise. Have you ever considered making a version of the model of the classic Enterprise from Trials and Tribble-ations?
DSTChuck: George I do not think we have that version of the Enterprise planned any time soon.

Hello as a fan of Star Trek: The Next Generation, I’d like to know if you’re going to be releasing anymore figures for the line? I have a copule of suggestions you could do: Dr. Beverly Crusher in her blue lab coat, Counselor Deanna Troi in one of her other casual jumpsuits, Romulan Commander Sela, the Enterprise-E EMH from First Contact, a Nemesis version of Admiral Kathryn Janeway and a couple of others.
DSTChuck: Right now they are no plans for TNG figures, if the retailers thought there was demand out there, I agree there are a few key figures that would be great to do.

Hello, I’ve seen a lot of pictures of various new Borg figures that are supposed to be released, but I haven’t been able to find any. Have they been discontinued or have they not been released yet?
DSTChuck: Yes Alexander I am afraid the Borg figures have been canceled.
