I am a big fan of MOTU. The majority of my collection is MOTU, but does anyone feel like it has been too much? Like I collect the original vintage figures, then the 2000x line, then mattycollector, then Super7, and now Mattel Origins...its getting to be a lot. I may need a new house!!!!

I think these look fun and will be going for it. But I do kinda wish they would consider rereleasing a classics version.

I agree, with all the technology available to toy makers these days, why don't they make a toy that is an exact replica of the show we so loved watching!!!!

Super 7 Filmation figures were that but Mattel is doing the opposite because they are doing Retro line called Origins that is a reminiscence of the original toys so they intentions for day one was not to continue what Super 7 was doing...

I like battle cat and it looks accurate with the mask on... This is not a cringer release from super 7 (Filmation Style) so without the mask it's not going to look like the cat we used to see on TV...

The original battle cat without the mask was just a standard cat (Tiger) face...

Im a big fan of anything that is Retro just like my Air Jordans. But not completely sold on this Retro style of MOTU. I bought doubles of each and everything MOTUC that Mattycollector made plus all the figures that Super7 made in Classics & Filmation Style. But this new style of the 80s figures..... Im still on the fence. Yes the card backs looks awesome & like the articulation-its just something about the faces. Ill see when they start Walmart shelves later this year.

very nice. do hope that's only how the prototype eyes are on cats non mask face. seems a bit odd to be all green with a dot.

I am excited for more MOTU figs! The battle cat looks good. I still think He-man's face could be better though.

Seems to be a shade of green lighter in the new pictures, perhaps it's the lighting. I like how Battle Cat is coming out, wonder when we'll see Panthor, he's the one I'm excited for.
