Pumpkinhead Maquette

Beware the terrors unleashed from hell through acts of revenge. Such is the premise of the cult horror classic, Pumpkinhead. The directorial debut of visual effects legend Stan Winston, Pumpkinhead is the nickname of an unstoppable vengeance demon summoned by an anguished father (played by Lance Henriksen) intent on exacting justice on the group of city teenagers that accidentally took the life of his young son. Raised from the depths of hell, Pumpkinhead sets out on a lethal hunt to find each one of those teenagers, making each of them pay the price for their recklessness, each facing a horrible death at the hands of the bloodthirsty demon. Gruesomely unique in both design and execution, Pumpkinhead is a true modern horror creature classic.

Fifteen years after he debuted in theaters, Sideshow Collectibles and Stan Winston Studios bring Pumpkinhead to life again with the definitive collectible sculpture of the film's demonic main character. Artists at Stan Winston Studio have scanned the full-size original to approximately 1:4 scale to create the detailed and authentic Pumpkinhead maquette.

Pumpkinhead stands menacingly at 27.5" atop a detailed environmental display base, as the demon treads through a patch of rotten pumpkins and vines.

The creation of the Pumpkinhead Maquette was overseen by Stan Winston Studio's creative director, John Rosengrant. Stan Winston saw the project as an opportunity to capture the essence of the creature, and the spirit of the original design, and worked closely with John to achieve the ultimate in sculpture and design. Stan Winston's team has created the definitive take on the monster, something that was simply not possible with the films original budget. Pumpkinhead remains one of Stan Winston's favorite projects, and a truly important part of his film history.
