I never noticed that the Dragon Stars figures dont have an ab crunch. I prefer Figuarts for DB and DBZ stuff anyway, but sometimes the price of the Dragon Stars figures in comparison makes them tempting. For instance the Majin Buu figuarts is like $74 compared to $24 for this one. There is a noticeable quality difference, but the fact that they have released many good Figuarts for $35 makes me wonder why the Buu one isnt closer to that price point. You could argue that size is a factor, but some of their tiny figuarts characters are still way more expensive like the little girl from Spy X family or the DBS: Super Hero Pan figure (though that one was a limited release I believe).

I've never been able to wrap my head around Figuarts' pricing. I've got a small handful of their stuff, always on sale, and it's all fine, but not worth the extravagant pricing they charge for some of their work, in my opinion. My Dragonball collection doesn't personally need to be too crazy, so for the most part I'm fine with just rolling with the Dragon Stars stuff, I just wish they'd release some of the characters that Figuarts has put out (like Dadoria!) but I'm not paying $100+ for them. And I'd love to get me some Ginyu Force action.
